Tis' the season

I can now share the pictures of the quilt I made for Alexander and Kristin,

I think they liked it very much.....

Christmas has been wonderful, and now this is my favourite week of the year...the week between Christmas and New Year.

Everyone is on holiday, relaxed and happy. Books are being read, children are being read to, there is a lot of lazing about and laughing, and there seems to be a great deal of chocolate to consume........ well, in our house anyway.

I hope you are all enjoying the season and making merry.

Such a beautiful quilt, it's no wonder they have those big "cheshire cat" smiles. This between week is my favourite time too...........time to relax and enjoy.

Enjoy your family and your perfect week, Sally!! My girls are home from college, too, and we just had a big snowfall yesterday, so we're happily ensconced at home for a few days as well!!

I agree about the week, and it used to be my favorite time too! before empty nest and back to work. :)

What a wonderful quilt, I love it, was it hand quilted or machine? I think we have a fair bit of left over chocolate too.
