Today I put together the slouchy cardigan from the book Greetings from Knit Cafe.
Last night I sewed in the sleeves and as I was doing so, I thought to myself...hmmm, I wonder if my arms are going to fit comfortably into these. Then as I was sewing the left front, and the right front to the back, I had another thought...hmmm, this is looking rather small for me...I don't think it will be very "slouchy".
Then today my daughter arrived for lunch as I was sewing in the hood, and I thought .......hmmm, I wonder if I should see if it fits Tamsin first, before I attempt to try it on.

Lucky Tamsin, perfct for a cold winter up the valley!
What a beautiful colour and doesn't she suit it. Lucky girl!!!!
Looks great...shame it's not for you! I've had my eye on that for ages....! Not that I've ever knitted anything bigger than a scarf!
I am so jealous of that sweater! It's beautiful! I guess this is just an excuse to start another project ;)
Lovely colours and lucky Tamsin!
it is lovely, and serendipitous! x
Your daughter was definitely in the right place at the right time!
This looks great! Well done :)
So i have been looking at this same pattern for a little while now, wanting one myself... Did you alter the pattern at all? As the picture from the book makes it look quite short?
This is for Flutterby...yes, I did have to alter the pattern a wee bit. ....there were lots of errors in the publication of the book I have. I downloaded the eratta from Ravelry :-)
