Great excitement here on Saturday. I had all six of the grandchildren helping to decorate the Christmas tree, and as they arrived Esmae couldn't wait to show me something special.
Esmae now has a violin and has had a lesson from her Mum (Tamsin)...check out the bowhold !
New heights have been reached today.
and I shall spin and smile to myself, remembering other little fingers mastering those open strings.
Oh how precious. She looks so confident, how proud you must feel. I'm sure she'll grow up to be a fine musician, just like her grandmother. It seems everyone i know got their tree over the weekend, i can hardly wait for ours now.Yours looks lovely!
Gosh she looks so like Tamsin on first glance with her blonde hair &holding the violin, yet her face is so like Josh! I really hope we can make it down to your part of the world sometime soon to see them all again!

Nice bow-hold! She looks so intent and proud. A violist in the making, perhaps?
