Productions

The end of a school year.

Time now for playing on the beach and building sandcastles,

picking plums,

and eating Sarah's delicious pavlova with berries and passionfruit couli. You might want to check out Sarah's new blog. It is called Spoon and Spatula and she has been cooking up a storm since her arrival home a week ago.
It is fantastic having your very own resident chef, believe me...she even cleans up !!

Watching some budding ballerinas have their last lesson for the year,

a proud moment for some doting grandparents.

Not many more sleeps now till Christmas.
I have been enjoying listening to this all day and dancing around the kitchen with my little ballerina

It all looks so lovely Sally, I love the little ballerina and the beach photos, hard to imagine with it being so cold here.
And the blog you sent us to, yum! I have been baking from the Nepenthe book, this last weekend I made the birthday cake for my youngest daughter who turned 19 on saturday!
enjoy the season,

oh, i forgot to tell you, I LOVE Jack Johnson. He is from here, well, from Hawaii now, but he comes back regularly and plays at the Santa Barbara Bowl (one of his songs mentions UCSB(the college near us where he went) and when he plays it the crowd goes wild),I love seeing him. Isn't that funny? another thing we have in common!
