A touch of Green

An old green bottle with a winter rose, and a hyacinth just starting to show a touch of green. Our pure white cat is the blob in the background.

My 'Tangled Yoke Cardigan', finally finished, and just waiting for me to sew on the buttons.
.
I haven't checked on Ravelry yet, but I think I probably cast on for this way back in 2007.
I love the finished product, and thoroughly enjoyed knitting it in the round. I think I shall probably make another in the same way, and substitute Fair Isle for the cable on the yoke...it is such a nice fit.
The wool I used for this is Rowan Felted Tweed, the colour is Herb and the pattern is from the magazine Interweave Knits Fall 2007.
A song for you today from Joni Mitchell. Little Green, one of my all time favourites.

Oh, Sally...this sweater is really gorgeous! I love the yoke! This green is terrific, too.
...plus, it was a long-term WIP, so congratulations!!
I've been using your soap all week and thinking of you each time I smell the orange and spices.
Thanks again for your sweetness!!

I love the green theme, your bottle photo is so pretty and OH my gosh your tangled yoke cardigan is so so lovely. I was wondering how you'll make the fair isle, is there a pattern for that Sally? i would love to do that too. I just saw the Rowan Felted Tweed on saturday. I bought a beautiful blend of baby alpaca and silk for a shawl i'm going to start soon. Our weather has been so cold (for summer)i've felt like knitting.

Love Joni Mitchell so much too. Blue is my favorite!
