We have had a rather distressing time of late. Our daughter has had a very painful miscarriage which ended in a visit and overnight stay in the hospital, and we have been caring for the rest of her family this past week.
It has been especially hard because she had a previous miscarriage last year.
They all went home this morning and I sat at my table with a comforting cup of tea, inside the quiet house, with my thoughts, and taking long , deep, breaths.

So sorry to hear that sad news. All the best for you and your family xx
Oh Sally Anne, how heart-breaking. Blue is always so peaceful, isn't it? Still loving that quilt.
I looked at the photos before I read the text....and was thinking blues, blissful blues. And then I read your very sad news. Sending warm wishes to you all.
Oh no, that's so very sad. My thoughts are with you and your daughter and the rest of the family.
I came from Melissa's blog, I was scrolling down when I noticed the wall with the blue plates she blogged recently, and then I read the post. I'm really so sorry for your daughter (I presume not Melissa), and for blue times. You do wonderful work, I'll come back to enjoy it.
