Little Pots of Gold

As you can see this post is much the same as the last one...sorry about that !

But this is what I have been doing ........
Jam making.
Mixed berry jam, greengage plum jam and apricot jam.

Apricot is Ian's favorite.

I have never made the greengage plum jam before, even though the greengage tree has been in our orchard forever, and I have to say that it is truly scrumptious. Sweet, but tangy.

Tomorrow might be the day for scones and jam, I am thinking...

Yum, looks delicious. I can see an autumn and winter full of the tastes of summer! I linked to your cicada post the other day ;)

Look at all those jars! A day for scones for sure! I don't know greengage, but I like a touch of tanginess in jams, one of my favorite these days is clementine jam (with the peel). Happy baking!

Oh I want to make some too! but i'll have to wait for our summer. Apricot is my favorite also, the jars look perfect all lined up, what a satisfying feeling.

I'm glad your having so much fun Sally (i'm sure the rest of your family is too! so much jam!)
